CAUTION:

2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

(a) Lift the reclining adjuster release handle.

(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Remove the hog rings and rubber bands of the seatback cover from the seat frame.

(b) Remove the 2 screws.

(c) Disengage the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cushion shield.

4. REMOVE INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cushion shield.

6. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(b) Bend the 2 seat frame claws upward.

(c) Disengage the hooks and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 10 hog rings and seat cushion cover.

8. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE NO. 1 LH

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the seatback lock handle as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

9. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE NO. 1 RH

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the seatback lock handle as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

10. REMOVE SEATBACK SHIELD LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seatback shield.

11. REMOVE SEATBACK SHIELD RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seatback shield.

(c) Disconnect the airbag wire harness from the seatback shield.

12. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 airbag wire harness clamps from the seat frame.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and seatback assembly.

13. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD

(a) Disengage the 2 clips and 2 hooks, and then remove the seatback board.

14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback lock sub-assembly.

15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback lock sub-assembly.

16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD

17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat hinge cover.

18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat hinge cover.

19. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the seatback cover bracket from the seatback spring.

(b) Remove the 11 hog rings.

(c) Remove the 4 hog rings.

(d) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

(e) Remove the seatback cover with pad.

20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings and seatback cover wires.

(b) Disconnect the seatback cover bracket from the seatback pad.

(c) Remove the 2 hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.

21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover.

22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover.

23. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.

24. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.

25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LOWER LH

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the seat cushion shield.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LOWER RH

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the seat cushion shield.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH

(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors.

(b) Disengage the wire harness clamp and remove the front seat wire.
